POLISHED

Polishing is by far the most widespread stone surface finishing. In addition to honing the stone surface, it maximizes the stone’s luminosity, enhancing all its aesthetic qualities, colors, and veins. This finishing is not done with chemicals, but through a mechanical process that progressively paves the surface with abrasive heads of descending grain, until it obtains a smooth and reflective surface. Normally, the polishing of the stone is destined to interior realizations giving an extra touch of elegance and refinement to the environment. Be that as it may, thanks to the stone’s unaltered properties, polished surfaces are vastly used for the embellishment of open air areas.
